Overcome back to work challenges.

Continuous learning as we transition to “Return to Work”

Learn how to manage stress during COVID-19 and beyond

Focus on critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and more

COVID-19 has changed the way we work, learn and live. For many of us, the coronavirus has been the most significant, and perhaps the most traumatic, experience of our lives. It will have a huge impact on us as individuals, as a society and as a workforce.

In partnership with RI DLT, we provide several programs for technical incumbent employees. The Emerging Leaders Track is for up-and-coming project leaders and program managers. Managers looking to grow with their organizations are offered an Advanced Leadership Track. An individual online assessment is conducted prior to training and utilized throughout each module as a Best Practices tool. Students who attend and complete 6 of 7 modules received a Certificate of Recognition.

Previous attendees have included individual entrepreneurs to employees at small, mid-size and large organizations. Attendees include employees at Amgen, Epivax, Rhode Island Quality Institute, St. Elizabeth’s Community, Ximedica, Brown/Lifespan and Rubius Therapeutics.

Types of workers: Engineers, scientists, quality control employees, nurses, technicians, data analysts, programmers, and project leaders. Interested in participating? Give us a call at 401-400-5499.

Mentoring/Industry Role Models

Students are encouraged to find a mentor within their organization. This does not have to be their manager; if a mentor isn’t available, RI Bio will help secure one. Additional coaching is also available to students throughout the round.

Critical thinking; empathy; problem solving; self-awareness; communication to build trust; ability to approach projects with flexibility and adaptability pursuant to the new normal of virtual, remote and in-person relationships.

To learn how to be effective change agents; collaborate across lines; evaluate own well-being and others; improve leadership styles; juggle chaos, crisis and technology; become visionaries to change environment/products/services when a crisis strikes; and create a supportive/caring work environment for those working internally and remotely.

“I absolutely love RI Bio’s HR Leaders Circle of Excellence roundtables…There is always a takeaway that I can then tailor and apply within my organization. We discuss challenges and how best to navigate through them so we can be resilient and continue to foster a positive and engaged work environment for our teams.”
