MedMates to Host Life Sciences EXPO 2017

Leading-Edge Companies in Biotechnology, Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, and Diagnostics to Present at Life Sciences Gathering

Providence, R.I., April 12, 2017MedMates, Rhode Island’s life sciences technology network group, today announced that it will host Life Sciences EXPO 2017 on April 26th in Providence, R.I. The event will bring together attendees from Rhode Island, Massachusetts and Connecticut to showcase the innovation, growth and diversity of the Southeastern New England life science industry. Companies on the cutting edge of biotechnology, neuroscience, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, diagnostics and more will present their work and have the opportunity to forge connections with others in the industry.

The Life Sciences EXPO will be the largest gathering of life science organizations in Rhode Island, bringing together companies, hospitals, medical professionals, universities, non-profits, professional organizations, government agencies, investors, and entrepreneurs in the life sciences ecosystem. Stefan Pryor, Rhode Island Secretary of Commerce, and Tom Osha, senior vice president of innovation and economic development at Wexford Science + Technology, will be the keynote speakers. Other featured speakers include John Heffernan at the Biotechnology Innovation Organization.

In addition to exhibitor tables and networking opportunities, there will be three scientific panels during the EXPO:
