This two-week intensive program at URI’s world-class Pharmaceutical Development Institute will teach the technical skills employers are looking for. You’ll have the chance to learn face-to-face, ask questions, and practice skills hands-on in a state-of-the-art laboratory setting. Boot Camp is open to just 20 candidates who must pass an interview and evaluation process.

Job Search Help and Job Fair

RI life sciences companies cite lack of trained talent as a top challenge and they’re ready to hire. Graduates will be able to take advantage of a resume writing/interview preparation workshop to secure entry-level positions in the biotech, pharmaceutical and healthcare fields. They’ll also have access to a Job Fair with companies that have expressed an interest in hiring boot camp graduates.

Who should attend

Anyone looking for a new career path in the biotech industry. Participants must be RI Residents, over the age of 18.

Instruction

The 2024 Boot Camp will be taught by the pharmaceutical experts at URI’s world-class Pharmaceutical Development Institute (PDI). PDI is committed to enhancing and expanding the capacity and workforce development of pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms in their state-of-the-art training center.
