Glenn Robertelli, Executive Director, leads the RI Bio community and Board of Directors in developing strong collaborations among life sciences companies, entrepreneurs, sources of capital, academic and medical centers, hospitals and government organizations to ensure a high-value life sciences community. Through education and advocacy, he supports innovators, students, clinicians, academics and businesses in their efforts to advance science.

Alessandra Messina is a rising sophomore at Vanderbilt University, studying electrical and computer engineering with a minor in engineering management and math. At Vanderbilt she actively participates in the Society of Women Engineers, is a Student Ambassador, works with Social Dores’ (social media marketing for their athletics), and is one of five students on the Electrical and Computer Engineering Tech Crew. After graduation, she aspires to use her engineering knowledge to research and develop breakthrough medical devices, specifically in the field of oncology. When not studying and working with RI Bio, she loves to travel-especially in Europe-try new things, and run 5ks to raise money for cancer research foundations such as Gloria Gemma!
